When you generate a “Certificate Signing Request” (CSR) from cPanel, and save it, you many not want to store it on your server. Instead, you can remove it. This is because you can keep a CSR code on your PC so there is no need to store it on the server.
Log into your cPanel account.
In the
Securitysection, click on theSSL/TLSicon.
Under “Certificate Signing Request”, click on
Generate, View or Delete CSR.
Under “Certificate Signing Requests on Server”, you can see your previously generated CSR. You can see the
Deleteoption under the Action area.
Click on the
Deleteoption. You will need to click onDeleteagain for the confirmation message.
The CSR code will be removed and no longer stored on your server.
