Microsoft made updates available to fix what they broke last week, and it should be fully resolve the App Server problems that were created.
Microsoft has made updates available to fix this problem that was introduced by their July security rollup. The updates do not yet appear to be getting pushed out through Windows Updates for all users, buy you can obtain the update directly using the links below.
You will need to apply the correct update after re-applying the July security rollup if you had previously removed it.
Restore Hidden Updates
Please check for any hidden updates first!
Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Update“restore hidden updates” on the left side of the control panel.
Install ALL recent updates.
Then find your OS below and download the patch.
This will reboot your server a few times. It will take a long time depending on how many updates you have.
