Automatic installation of a plugin is easy and you can also install it manually. It will involve manually downloading a plugin, uploading, and activate it.
Make sure you’ve already downloaded a zip file of the plugin to your desktop.
Login to your WordPress admin dashboard.
Under the Dashboard menu, hover your mouse over
Pluginsand click onAdd New.
Click on
Upload Pluginand then onBrowse. Choose your plugin’s zip file and then click onInstall Now.
Click the
Activate Plugin.
The newly activated plugin will show in the sidebar menu. If a setup of hte plugin is required, it will show an option to complete it.
