If you have a private cloud in the Zebra Cloud Stack (ZCS), you have access to the feature “Hibernate” within the virtual machine’s Remote Console section.

The ZCS Hibernate feature is similar to the hibernate feature in BIOS - for example, shutting down the lid of a laptop computer.

This is a unique feature that you may find useful in a few scenarios such as test flows.

You may also find it used to pause a virtual machine to free up RAM to start a different virtual machine (for checking or testing something faster than shutting down a virtual machine).
